California’s Alternate Pathway to a Diploma for Students with Extensive Support Needs

with Kristin Wright and Stephanie Coleman

Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. PT

Free Zoom webinar

California offers an alternative pathway to a high school diploma for students with significant cognitive disabilities, but since it’s a relatively new program, there’s a lot of confusion about who exactly qualifies and what it means for students with IEPs.

Join us for a Zoom webinar training and conversation with Kristin Wright and Stephanie Coleman, two experts from Inclusive Practices and Integrated Systems at the Sacramento County Office of Education, as they debunk some common myths, answer questions from the chat, and provide advice to help inform and empower parents as they advocate for their children’s futures.

Can’t make it live? Register your email, and we’ll send you the full recording and a recap of the highlights straight to your inbox.
