“Let’s Talk About…” is a parent-to-parent series for Undivided members featuring informal conversations about the things families are figuring out together. Come with questions. Come with experience. No presentations, no recording – just a dedicated time for parents to connect who are exploring the same questions.
This month’s topic is Building Community to Combat Burnout led by Navigator Andrea Loveday-Brown, a parent of children with genetic disabilities and ADHD. Andrea says:
“Everyone says it takes a village, but finding my people while raising a disabled and medically complex child wasn’t quite that simple. One thing became clear as I intentionally prioritized building community: the most difficult moments of caregiver burnout became somehow more bearable. I look forward to sharing the ways I have found belonging with others, both in real life and virtually. Join me in a parent-to-parent conversation to hear more and take the opportunity to share how that journey has looked for you so far. Finding your village begins with conversations like these.”
