What is The Parent Circle?

Parenting a child with additional needs can be incredibly rewarding yet incredibly isolating. It’s hard to find others who truly understand the emotional roller coaster, the advocacy, the appointments, the victories that feel enormous, and the exhaustion that often goes unseen.

The Parent Circle is a welcoming monthly gathering where parents can come exactly as they are.

This isn’t a class, and it isn’t group therapy. It’s a space to connect with other parents who understand this journey. Together, we’ll celebrate wins (big and small), navigate challenges, share what’s working, talk through what’s hard, and remind one another that none of us has to carry this alone.

Led by a licensed therapist specializing in supporting parents of children with disabilities, who also brings lived experience as a parent of a child with extra support needs, each gathering offers thoughtful conversation, practical coping strategies, and plenty of room for honest, real-life discussion. There is no pressure to share — whether you come to listen, connect, or contribute, you are welcome.

About the facilitator

Casey Mouton

Casey Mouton is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with women and parents navigating anxiety, trauma, major life transitions, and coming to terms with uncertainty when life doesn’t unfold as expected. In addition to clinical training, she brings lived understanding as a parent of a child with extra support needs. This has shaped her sensitivity to uncertainty, medical trauma, health anxiety, and the emotional resilience required when life demands steadiness even in the midst of fear and exhaustion.
