Seth Besse, CEO of Undivided

Seth Besse is a builder of systems — technical, human, and societal. As CEO of Undivided, he leads one of the most ambitious efforts in the country to use AI to transform how families navigate disabilities, learning differences, and the maze of public systems. Since 2022, Seth has overseen Undivided’s evolution into a true end-to-end platform, combining parent-to-parent expertise with AI-powered guidance, real-time document intelligence, and a scalable Navigator network (actual humans) that supports thousands of households while reaching nearly one million parents each year.

Seth’s belief in the power of technology to close access gaps began well before Undivided. At RPX Corporation, he led the creation of the patent industry’s first major transparency engine — integrating public and proprietary datasets, early machine-learning classifiers, and predictive analytics to map litigation risk and help tech companies reduce millions in unnecessary legal spend. Today, Seth applies that same “complexity into clarity” mindset to a far more critical mission: ensuring no caregiver has to navigate special education, insurance, or public benefits alone. As a dyslexic individual with ADHD, he remembers the anxiety of reading aloud in class and the feeling of systems not built for him. Those experiences fuel Undivided’s AI roadmap — from automated IEP analysis to proactive transition guidance to long-term ambitions of building the first longitudinal, AI-supported care navigation infrastructure for neurodivergent families nationwide. Seth is now forging large-scale partnerships with Regional Centers, school districts, and health systems to bring this technology to every family — so the support a child receives is no longer determined by luck, privilege, or a parent’s ability to decode a broken system.
